The Whitehead Lab in the Department of Environmental Toxicology is seeking a motivated undergraduate student to assist with summer research activities. Projects will focus on how early-life exposures to environmental pollutants affect fish behavior and development.
Responsibilities will include fish husbandry, assisting with animal experiments and behavioral assays, and general laboratory support. No prior experience is required, though students interested in biology, environmental health, toxicology, animal behavior, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Applicants must be comfortable handling fish and willing to occasionally assist with weekend animal care or experiments. Position is part-time with potential for increased/full-time hours depending on availability and lab needs.
